Privacy policy

Last updated 28 July 2026

ListingLine is an Australian sole trader business, ABN 25 781 231 670. We take privacy seriously, and this policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Two kinds of people, two different roles

This service involves two groups, and the distinction matters.

What we collect from customers

What we collect about the people you call

Call recording

Every call made through ListingLine is recorded and transcribed. The recording exists for three reasons: so you can hear what was said, so the outcome can be verified for billing, and so there is evidence of compliance if it is ever required.

Recording obligations differ between Australian states and territories under the relevant surveillance devices legislation. Our agents disclose that the call is being handled by an AI assistant at the start of every call. If your jurisdiction requires an explicit recording notice in your script, you can add one in your agent settings, and you are responsible for meeting the requirements that apply where you operate.

Why we collect it

Who we share it with

We use third party providers to deliver the service. Each receives only what it needs.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share your contact lists with other customers or with anyone else.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our providers store or process data outside Australia, primarily in the United States. This includes our voice AI, telephony and hosting providers. By using ListingLine you consent to this disclosure. We take reasonable steps to ensure providers handle information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, but overseas recipients may not be subject to Australian privacy law.

How long we keep it

Security

Access is restricted to those who need it. Data is encrypted in transit. Payment details are handled by our processor and never stored by us. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if an eligible data breach occurs, as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can access and correct most of your information in your account. For anything else, email info@listingline.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to verify your identity first.

If you were called by a ListingLine agent

You can find out what we hold, have it corrected, or be removed permanently. See our opt-out page. Removal is actioned immediately and applies across every account on the platform.

Complaints

Email info@listingline.com.au and we will investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date at the top.
